Pine Ridge Farm workshops and events are a great way to gather with friends and family, meet new people and share an appreciation for the outdoors and nature.
Our seasonal workshops are hands on and typically include native or farm grown products. Many are designed to inspire creativity through an appreciation of nature. Our workshops often use flowers & moss, sticks & stones, leaves and other natural material found local in the fields, in the garden and in the woods. These items are used to decorate pumpkins, embellish wreaths or fill holiday baskets depending on the time of the year. Both our events and workshops coincide with the changing of the season and both celebrate the beauty of what the season has to offer. From our Summer Solstice celebration to our Christmas Wreath Decorating workshop- both combine people with music, food, drink, fun and creativity. It is an experience for all the senses.
Pine Ridge Farm workshops are designed for any level of experience. We provide all the materials needed, and add instruction, demonstration and examples of the finished product. We offer a light snack and a theme punch but guests are welcome to bring a beverage of their choice or contribution to the food table. Our workshops provide a place to be social and creative.
The living Easter basket class is our first workshop to kickoff for the new season. We end our year with the annual wreath decorating workshop. These workshops are a time to turn pumpkins into centerpieces, leaves into birdbaths and hollowed logs into fairy houses.
Our events are a time to listen to live music, eat good food and meet great people. Summer Solstice marks the beginning of our outdoor event celebration, where we celebrate the sun, the longest day of the year and the beginning of summer. We close our year with our Annual Acoustic Sunday which typically occurs around the time of the Winter Solstice. This is a relaxing day of acoustic music, holiday shopping food and cheer for friends and families.
A recent addition to our event schedule is our Afternoon Tea. These typically begin when our patio opens in July and occurs once or twice a month. The afternoon event includes a choice of seasonal tea, a buffet with home made scones, finger sandwiches a variety of savories, sweets and live classical music. Space is limited though, so it is best to make reservations in advance.
Each year we try to add new projects and are always open to ideas for any age or anyone interested in a DIY experience. In the event that there is a leap year, blue moon...or even a full moon - Pine Ridge Farm has a reason to celebrate.
Pine Ridge Farm is the place to come to be inspired, get creative and have fun. Come with family and friends and be part of the experience.
All of our classes have limited space so please call to make a reservation or ask about private parties.
